The machismo is an ideology that encompasses the set of attitudes, behaviors, social practices and beliefs, aimed at promoting the denial of the woman as a player indiferentemente of the culture, tradition, folklore or context. To refer to a subject's denial, there are different, variants that depend on the field that refers, some are familiar (patriarchal family structures, namely male domination), sex (promotion of the inferiority of female sexuality as passive subjects or denial of female desire), economic (undervalued of the labor activity, second-class workers or inferiority of wages), legislative (no representation of women in laws and therefore, not legitimizing their status of citizens, laws that promote the protection of women and their needs), intellectuals (inferiority in intelligence, mathematical ability, in objective capacity, in ...
Feminism has produced many changes in some Western societies, including female suffrage, equal employment, the right to ask the divorce, the woman's right to control their own bodies and medical decisions (including abortion, about which there is no consensus), and many others.
The unsafe abortion remains a preventable cause of deaths of many women in the world (third leading cause of maternal mortality in the world). A lot of beliefs considered radicals in the past are now part of common political thinking. Although it hardly anyone in the so-called " today's Western societies challenges the women's right to vote or property, concepts that were seen with a strangeness 200 years ago, women do not always have access to these rights.

The machismo encompasses the set of attitudes, behaviors, social practices and beliefs in order to justify and promote the maintenance of discriminatory attitudes against women and against men whose behavior is not properly " masculine " in the eyes of the male person.
Traditionally the machismo has been associated with the hierarchical classification and subordination of the family roles in favour of the comfort and well-being of men. In that regard, it is considered to be macho to assign the most work recognized or less tiring, too for men without a fair judgment or justified. It is also part of the machismo the use of any kind of violence against women in order to maintain emotional control or pecking on them. In fact, the machismo is considered a form of coercion not necessarily physically but psychologically, being this form of expression protects discrimination, because they are subestimadas...
The machismo has been an element of social control and sexist exploitation in many cultures. Some factors that have contributed to their survival and continuity are :
The discriminatory law against women.
Diferencia of treatment in the case of adultery, in some cultures, adultery, or the pregnancy prior to the harmonization of marriage are punished with the death penalty.
Necesidad the permission of the male to economic activities.
Denial of voting rights or civil rights other (see suffragette).

In the own view the machismo of men and women are bad, because sometimes we want to be more men or women more than normal and there are inequalities and fights between the social masses not only here in El Salvador but is global because that God created man and woman to give moral support, physical and even love! In my opinion the machismo is the actitud more low and coward of the men... In the actuality are worth for equally women and men, the fact that the men be more strong physically not makes us lower to they.
I think that different between men and women is that they are different between character, and another things because they aren't think same!! But they can be more sociable between themselves and then live happy!!!

I think that El Salvador need to change because women are so inteligent,clever,awesome but here exist a lot machismo and there are not much opportunity to women.
We increase Gender War when we feel superior to women. Actually women have lots of NGOs which support them but desequality doesnt stop between sexes...........GUYS lets respect women rights, and Girls lets respect men rigths.........
In muy opinión the machismo exist because the people think that are more than others but the true anything know, I think that is complicated because man and women are machistas people...I think so..!!
for me this blog It's excellent because It's teach me a lot of things that I didn't know it . Only imagine I am a girl and I saw every day there are a lot of men tahat they always have women like their maid, I hate that because we have value we aren't their things that they can handle.
this blog is fairly important because we have to change our surrounding but we have to do it by changing our way of thinking. Nowadays, women do not have the same opportunities than men do. That is because a lot of misconceptions, many people (including women) think that men are stronger tan woman!! that is not the truth... and we must have the same opportunities..thereare many places and countries where women are treated like objects, most of the time are related just to sexuality! that is a big mistake, but anyway... Let's give women and men the same value.. Let's stop Gender War
